TWO MILES WITHOUT STOPPING!!!!
This is huge for the anti-athlete that I am. I couldn't run a mile when I was young and a bean pole. Yippee!
That's all I wanted to tell you...

I just came across your blog and enjoyed my visit.
I just started running and am dying at every turn. Its great to know you struggled to and are making progress.

speaking of sit ups, i've been trying to do 100 a day, but have puttered out the last few.
if you're starting to run, just do it slooooowly. We've been reading Galloway's Book of Running, a classic guide that's been published in additional editions, and he recommends you only start running after you can walk briskly for 30 min and be OK. He also says you should walk one min./run one min. and NO MORE. Slow and steady, slow and steady. I think he's right. When I did too much too soon I got runner's knee. It hurt to walk down my stairs.
glad to "meet" you Julie!
