The kids and I were making Christmas cookies yesterday and had bowls, flour and measuring cups everywhere.
My little girl (hands down the biggest pigpen of the family) said, "We must keep the station clean!".
My kids then proceeded to wash ALL the dishes! Yeah for rats in the kitchen! :)

oh shannon h that is TOO FUNNY. it's made my kids want to MAKE messes and cut stuff up with my knives. my middle one mixed bananas and ranch dressing in a small pot the other day and asked me to taste it. i said let's just pretend ok? fortunately what was enough for him!
